Installation of .tar.gz file is easy on linux..
1.) Extract .tar.gz file...
2.) Look inside extracted file for install.sh script..
3.) Now open your root terminal.
4.) Go to the extracted directory.
5.) & type command :: ./install & follow instructions...
that's it.

Avira Antivirus For Linux
Avg is always away some. But I felt it wasn't smart for Linux as well as Windows.
So, today I downloaded Avira Antivirus software for Linux. Now it is more powerful for security purposes.And the scanning result of Avira is too much good..
download ============>>>>
1.) Download Avira Antivirus (45MB) [Note: downloaded file will be in .tar.gz formate.. ]
2.) install it
3.) open terminal
4.) Goto the directory which you want to scan
5.) then type command : antivir -s
That's it...
Enjoy Avira...

Steps :
1.) Login as a root user in terminal.
2.) Install software. i.e. rpm -i softwarename.rpm
Then it'll installed in your Fedora computer.
Now, it's ready to use.
3.) scan any file: $ avgscan /
4.) update :: $ avgupdate -o
